Where to Find or Create Your Artwork
If you see a style you like on a mood board or inspiration site like Pinterest, you want to make sure you source or create your final file legally and clearly. Here are the most common ways real people get their design files ready:
Using Personal Photos or Original Drawings: Take a high-resolution photo with your phone, scan a hand-drawn sketch, or create digital art yourself. Because you own it, you can save it as a clear PNG or JPG.
Purchasing from Creator Marketplaces: Buy digital graphics, logos, or patterns from paid platforms like Etsy, Creative Market, Adobe Stock, or Shutterstock.
Using Free Public Domain and Freebie Archives: Download vintage art, vector illustrations, or graphics legally from free resources like Freepik, Pixabay, Pexels, or free museum archives.
Designing via Online Tools: Recreate a concept or style you like using beginner-friendly layout tools like Canva, then download your finished creation directly as a high-quality image file.
Step-by-Step Artwork Submission
Start Big: Create your image large and clear right from the start. Avoid taking a tiny picture from the internet and stretching it bigger, as it will look blurry.
2. Use Standard Colors: Save your file using standard colors (called sRGB). This keeps your colors looking bright and prevents unexpected color changes.
3. Remove Backgrounds: If your image has an unwanted background box, you can easily make it transparent using a free tool like remove.bg before saving it as a PNG.
4. Submit Your Artwork: Submit your artwork and a short message on exactly how you would like the design to be placed on the product.
Important Note: Fly Clothing Co. does not print until the customer approves the design.
